Where is the best time period to begin? It is a history that could start at the very beginning in 1494, but I decided the most suitable period to start should be 1939 – the beginning of world war two. This is a period that proved to be the early stages to my family moving to England. The story will therefore run in this order;

1939 – 1962

1963 – 1998

1999 – 2004

(2005 – to present day will be fitted in at a later date)

The story then takes on a different direction when it goes back to 1494 – the period when Jamaica was first discovered.
